Human Resources Business Partner
Sparks Group has partnered with a leading Aviation manufacturer in Kinston, NC seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for an open-ended contract. The role involves partnering with leadership to address HR needs, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to anticipate and address HR needs aligned to business goals
Balance employee advocacy with business priorities and promote initiatives to strengthen a positive workplace culture
Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies
Identify and mitigate employee relations risks and de-escalate conflicts
Provide career coaching and support employee development plans including advising on internal mobility and career opportunities
Apply performance and consequential management practices
Implement and monitor HR policies, programs, and processes region-wide
Facilitate training to communicate new processes and systems
Lead change initiatives through innovation and problem solving while anticipating and addressing resistance to change
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education or experience
6+ years of progressive HR experience
Experience in a complex, matrixed, and international environment
Experience with employee counseling and handling complex employee relations issues
Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
Excellent communication skills
Strong written presentation, interpersonal, consultative, and problem solving skills
Experience with HRIS Platforms- Experience with ADP, Workday or SAP
Proficient with Google Workspace
Preferred
Aerospace industry experience
Union Experience Highly Desireable
