Senior Director of Business Development & Client Growth for (Marketing Agency)
Citro Digital is a B2B digital marketing agency helping organizations grow through brand, web, digital, and content strategies. They are seeking a senior-level Business Development and Client Growth leader who can drive new revenue for the agency end-to-end, focusing on building relationships with B2B decision-makers and managing the full new business lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Own new business development end-to-end, including prospecting, relationship-building, pitching, negotiating, and closing new B2B clients
Sell Citro’s marketing agency services (brand, web, digital, content, performance) — not products or software
Build and manage a healthy new business pipeline, including forecasting and revenue targets
Lead pitch strategy, proposals, and presentations with senior decision-makers (founders, CMOs, VPs of Marketing)
Generate new opportunities through relationships, referrals, partnerships, and strategic outreach
Collaborate with agency leadership to define growth priorities and target markets
Serve as a senior advisor to key clients, identifying opportunities to expand scope and grow long-term partnerships
Lead commercial conversations related to account expansion, renewals, and new engagements
Partner with delivery teams to ensure sold work is positioned for success and client satisfaction
Represent Citro externally as a senior growth leader
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in a B2B marketing or digital agency environment
Proven track record of selling and closing marketing agency services
Demonstrated ownership of revenue targets, pipelines, and new client acquisition
Experience leading pitches, negotiations, and complex client conversations
Strong understanding of how B2B organizations buy marketing services
Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving agency environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Existing professional network that can support new business development
Experience working with mid-market and growth-stage B2B companies
Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management tools
Ability to collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and digital teams
