Research Summer Intern - Regional Economics
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is a key institution in the Federal Reserve System, focusing on monetary policy and financial services. They are seeking a rising Senior undergraduate student for a summer internship in the Research department, where the intern will assist in preliminary research on regional economic issues and data.

Responsibilities
Assist Senior Regional Economic Analysts on preliminary research for one or two topics that focus on regional issues and data
Involved in the literature search, data gathering, data cleaning, preliminary analysis, and documentation of each step
Assist in discrete tasks on other Regional Economic Analysis Team projects as needed
Participate in research department seminars and meetings of the regional economics group
Qualification
Required
Experience/familiarity with Excel and some statistical/econometric software would be helpful
Candidate should demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, initiative, and substantive communication skills
Must be a rising Senior undergraduate student majoring in Economics
Must be available to work on-site in a full-time capacity
Must provide work authorization to prove eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred
Knowledge of R would be a plus
