Counter-Space Intelligence Analyst and Instructor

UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a Counter-Space Intelligence Analyst and Instructor to support the SBIRS Operations Support contract at Buckley SFB, CO. The role involves developing intelligence curriculum, conducting reviews, and providing training and expertise in space operations and ISR processes.

Responsibilities

Develop SBIRS Space Mission Force (SMF) Intelligence curriculum (e.g., lesson plans, study guides, and scripts) IAW AFIs, AFSPC Instruction and 460 SW SMF guidance
Conduct curriculum reviews, bi-annual review meetings and courseware review meetings
Attend scheduled conferences, phase briefings, safety meetings, crewmember meetings, and intelligence briefings
Perform in-depth research, fact-finding, and analysis to assess implementation of recommended training improvements across supported 460 SW units
Provide Advanced Training (AT) input and assists in product development through coordination with Wing operations training and Wing Weapons and Tactics personnel to tailor AT support for the Ready Spacecrew Program AT Missions (RAMs) process
Provide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and counter space expertise via scenario development intelligence injects (i.e., research existing intelligence production and submit Requests for Information (RFIs), as required) for Crew Readiness Verifications during SMF dwell periods
Provide academics for the weekly AT curriculum. Provides intelligence products and training specific to mission threats within applicable space segments and inform ISR processes as part of External Intelligence Training
Interface between operations floor Intelligence Analysts and other ISR units to support real time execution of operations
Provides intelligence expertise to Space Operations to include assessment of intent and capabilities of events and systems affecting the space domain, including cyber threats
Assigned tasks include providing trained and mission ready teams to the combat operations floor and organizing the team (including members, skillsets, and duty hours) to meet Operation’s Floor 24/7 requirements and MQT requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited university
Minimum of six (6) years of operational intelligence experience supporting space operations, training, or engineering support to SBIRS, or a similar, weapon systems
Experience providing and developing AF and ISD-based courseware, lesson plans, test materials, assessments, and surveys for mission-specific and unit-level training support in the Space Operations environment
Must have AF Instructor qualifications: completion of AF-level instructor course such as the Basic Instructor Course, Air Force Instructor Course, and Instruction Systems Design Fundamentals or Department of Defense (DOD) equivalent
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Preferred

At least five (5) years of support at the Group, Wing, or-HQ level within a HQ AFSPC-related stakeholder including SAF, SMC, and USSTRATCOM
