Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core/.NET Framework
Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness and scalability
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
Implement authentication and authorization for APIs (e.g., OAuth2, JWT)
Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and ensure code quality
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and APIs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
6+ years of experience in .NET development
Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework/Core
Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with SQL Server, and writing complex queries and stored procedures
Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI
Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
Experience with version control systems like Git
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and within a team
Attention to detail and a passion for writing high-quality code
Preferred
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Understanding of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React is a bonus
