Environmental Services Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities
Assist project managers with the preparation of sections of initial studies, environmental impact reports, and other related CEQA/NEPA documents for both public and private clients
Support project managers with team coordination including, but not limited to, internal meetings, client meetings, and public presentations and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
Assist with the coordination of internal technical teams and sub-consultants
Expand knowledge of environmental documentation through attendance at training sessions and courses
Perform research, analysis, and writing of project conditions, impacts, and mitigation efficiently and present in a concise and professional manner
Perform some coordination with public and private groups
Conduct fieldwork, including site visits for environmental information and photos
Assist in the preparation of proposals, statements of qualifications, as well as marketing materials
Participate in marketing efforts and phone calls to potential new and existing clients
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years of related experience
Effective communication through written and oral methods
Promote teamwork through interpersonal skills
Demonstrate organizational skills
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office software applications, especially Word and Excel, as well as internet usage
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Working knowledge of CEQA and its processing requirements
General understanding of NEPA
Technical competence and understanding of one or more environmental specialties such as land use, socio-economics, natural resources, hydrology, air, noise, etc
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Planning, Geography, Biology, or a related field
