Responsibilities

Own and deliver the monthly Mechanical Sales Forecast, analyzing historical trends, pipeline data, and market conditions to provide accurate revenue predictions
Produce weekly and monthly Sales Out Analysis reports, tracking product movement through distribution channels and identifying trends in customer purchasing patterns
Generate weekly Funnel Reporting to monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales velocity across all stages of the sales process
Compile monthly Lead and Marketing Reporting, measuring campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and conversion metrics to optimize marketing investments
Calculate monthly Sales Compensation for the entire sales organization, ensuring accurate commission calculations based on complex plan structures and accelerators
Conduct monthly Support Case Analysis to identify product issues, customer satisfaction trends, and opportunities for proactive account management
Execute monthly Account Product Updates in Salesforce, maintaining accurate records of customer product portfolios and adoption rates
Complete monthly Financial Actual Updates to opportunities, reconciling closed deals with actual revenue recognition and maintaining forecast accuracy
Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from sales leadership, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and territory planning
Maintain data integrity across Salesforce and other systems, identifying and resolving data quality issues that impact reporting accuracy
Develop and improve reporting processes to increase efficiency and insight quality over time
Collaborate with channel partners and distributors to gather sales data and maintain visibility into two-tier distribution activities

Required

Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data modeling; ability to manipulate large datasets efficiently
0-2 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or data analytics, preferably in B2B technology or distribution environments
Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from complex data
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and comfort learning new technology platforms
Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards, particularly for compensation calculations and financial reporting
Excellent time management skills to maintain multiple recurring reports while accommodating urgent requests
Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings to sales leadership and cross-functional teams
Basic knowledge of sales compensation structures, quotas, and commission calculations
Self-motivated with ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with strong collaboration skills for both office and remote work
Proactive problem-solver who identifies process improvement opportunities without prompting

Preferred

Understanding of two-tier distribution models and channel sales dynamics preferred but not required
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience with demonstrated analytical capabilities will be considered
