Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and redline payor agreements, amendments, credentialing documents, and ancillary contract forms
Conduct initial review of contract terms for consistency with the Best Demonstrated Practices, reimbursement language, and compliance requirements
Summarize contract terms for attorney and business team review
Assist in ensuring payor agreements align with applicable federal and state regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid and CMS requirements. Researches healthcare laws and regulations
Participate in various other projects and work streams, as assigned
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned include, but are not limited to:
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed; and
Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree required
Two years of experience as a Paralegal
Previous experience drafting and negotiating contracts required
Proficiency in MS 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams required
