Responsibilities

Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial data integrity
Process transactions such as donations, grants, membership dues, and operational expenses, ensuring timely deposits and payments
Oversee payroll activities, including benefits administration and tax filings, in coordination with HR
Assist in budget preparation and provide detailed reports on variances between actuals and projections
Track and monitor both restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and funding requirements
Prepare financial reports including trial balances, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, while supporting audit preparation
Collaborate with external accountants for tax filings, audits, and compliance with nonprofit regulations
Maintain donor and vendor records, handle acknowledgments, and coordinate correspondence to strengthen relationships
Ensure accurate documentation of assets, liabilities, volunteer hours, and insurance records in line with organizational policies

Required

Proven expertise in Full Charge Bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial principles

Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Skilled in performing detailed bank reconciliations and ensuring transaction accuracy
Ability to process payroll and manage associated tax filings and benefits
Familiarity with nonprofit financial compliance, including grant management and donor tracking
