Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Spark
Develop optimized ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data ingestion and transformation
Implement CI/CD for data solutions, automated testing, and monitoring for data quality and reliability
Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to deliver integrated analytics and ML solutions
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards across all data assets

Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience
2+ years experience with data governance, data compliance and/or data security
5+ years of experience in enterprise-scale data engineering and architecture in production environment used at enterprise scale
5+ years of demonstrated experience working in a data intensive environment and translating business needs into data requirements (experience with Microsoft Azure stack, SQL, Python, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric, Machine Learning and AI)
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Spark/PySpark
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Fabric, Data Factory, Cosmos DB
Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), orchestration tools
Knowledge of data governance, security, and performance optimization for large datasets
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality
Initiative and passion for finding solutions to hard problems at scale and operationalizing them
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
