Research Post-doctoral Fellow- Skin Longevity Lab at Mayo Clinic - S. Wyles
Mayo Clinic Healthcare London is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the Skin Longevity Lab to study biomarkers of skin aging and 3D bioprinting skin tissues. The role involves leading independent research projects focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of skin senescence and tissue engineering.
Responsibilities
Lead independent projects on studying the molecular and cellular mechanisms of skin senescence in human models, specifically related to tissue engineering 3D skin models and wound patch development
Conduct analyses
Utilize histopathology techniques and immunostaining
Work with 3D skin equivalents, explants, or other in vitro skin models for research
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in tissue bioprinting and/or tissue engineering required

The biology of aging and/or aging-related conditions
Excellent manuscript writing and communication skills

Demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications
Proof of English proficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic
