Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead daily team activities with inside and outside design team members
Advance the design of the project with those you supervise
Become responsible for managing projects through all phases of development
Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex projects
Learn and understand contract terms and the scope of service
Responsible for all facets of product delivery to assigned clients and shares accountability for satisfaction
Manage a significant amount of work as a project manager and be responsible for several projects
Build relationships with the design team and/or clients
Respond to requests from clients and communicate information on time to strengthen trust in your advisor
Work with the Group Leader to inform, manage, and meet project schedules
Mentor 1-2 developing engineers

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering required
Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Field experience required
Expert knowledge of building codes and standards
Expert knowledge of engineering drafting standards
Expert knowledge of mechanical engineering standards
Expert understanding of the construction process
Expert understanding of interpretation of construction drawings
Expert knowledge of AutoCAD
Expert knowledge of Revit
Experiencing managing and assisting in managing project teams

Preferred

PE highly preferred
People management experience highly preferred
