Strategy Manager
U.S. Silica Company is a leading producer of industrial minerals essential to modern life. The Strategy Manager will play a critical role in shaping the company’s strategic direction by identifying growth opportunities, evaluating markets, and developing actionable strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Drive Strategic Initiatives - Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, lead cross-functional analyses, and develop well-supported recommendations for executive decision-making
Lead Quantitative Analysis - Scope and execute financial models, market analyses, and performance metrics using Excel and other tools with precision and accuracy
Support M&A and Partnerships - Screen inbound opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and contribute to due diligence and integration planning
Create Executive-Level Communications - Develop concise, high-impact presentations in PowerPoint for leadership and board audiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required
Ability to define business problems, see the big picture, and prioritize what drives value
Proficiency in complex financial modeling and market analysis; advanced Excel skills required
Clear, concise, and impactful verbal and written communication
Self-starter, collaborative, comfortable in high-demand environments, and able to move seamlessly between big-picture strategy and detailed execution
Preferred
2+ years in management consulting (top-tier firm preferred) or equivalent corporate strategy experience
M&A exposure is preferred (due diligence, integration)
Industrial or oil & gas sector knowledge is a plus
