Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related concerns as they arise
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues
Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the location
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to support the security-related operations of the location
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
