Adv Fundraising Director, Development

Responsibilities
Responsible for vision and strategic development of customized strategies to identify and cultivate prospects for the purpose of converting them into donors, volunteers, and advocates of Cedars-Sinai
Plans, organizes, and directs fundraising campaign priorities. May serve as an expert or lead development professional in specific academic/research discipline
Manages existing and ongoing giving programs and operations, including aspects of planning, gift acknowledgment, gift stewardship and accounting
Evaluates solicitation programs and makes recommendation for improvement
Recruits, trains, mentors, and supervises gift officers in advancement efforts
Generates written gift solicitation proposals to prospective high net worth donors
Conceptualize, develop, and execute effective strategies to practice moves management and increase fundraising results
Plans, develops, and manages relationships with major gift prospects; maintain a well-designed and documented prospect portfolio
Provides recommendations and assist in executing effective strategies to practice moves management and increase fundraising results
As an effective player coach, maintains high volume of significant donor relationships, meaningful contact and solicitation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Required - Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, and/or related
Minimum Requirement - 10 years of fundraising or relevant experience in a large complex organization and/or medical healthcare facility; demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding at major gift levels; working knowledge of deferred vehicles and community/philanthropic resources
Minimum Requirement - 5 years of experience managing department/ service line(s) with a team of direct reports
