Gate City Bank is seeking a Personal Loan Officer to prospect and maintain relationships with customers by providing expertise in personal lending products. Responsibilities

Interview customers to obtain financial history. Analyze information and sells customers on the products and services that best meet their needs

Prepare personal lending loan applications completely, accurately and in compliance with Federal guidelines and the Bank’s policies and procedures

Approve loans within approval limits, and if appropriate, forwards higher values for approval

Investigate and close all approved loans in accordance with Federal guidelines and the Bank’s policies and procedures

Consistently inform and sell customers on credit life and disability insurance and GAP insurance

Respond to customer inquiries regarding all aspects of personal loans

Maintain awareness of all current policies and procedures pertaining to personal loans and all interrelated services and functions

Meet established personal production goals and assist in the achievement of all the Bank’s annual sales goals

Expected to assist in securing liens on mortgages, titles and UCCs

Build, seize, and recognize relationship building opportunities with all areas of the bank, including but not limited to deposit, mortgage, business banking, financial planning, and insurance

Provide a 'Wow' customer service experience for team members and customers

Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers, and vendors

Prompt and reliable attendance is essential in order to provide expected levels of service

Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations

Must be detailed-oriented and maintain high degree of accuracy

Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
