They are seeking a summer intern to join their Legal Department, where the intern will assist with ongoing matters and specific projects while gaining mentorship and experience in various legal areas.

Responsibilities
Interact with and be mentored by senior members of our team
Act as part of the in-house legal department advising the business on various legal matters
Partner with legal staff on a rotating basis with respect to projects that may include: Fund creation/management; Risk Management, Intellectual Property, Employment, Privacy/Cybersecurity and Insurance
Work on short-term and summer-long projects impacting the firm and present their conclusions
Experience personal and professional growth
Qualification
Required
Ability to multi-task and possess strong project management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
A positive and professional attitude
Must be pro-active, self-motivated, outspoken, and well-organized
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills
Genuine passion for corporate responsibility and desire to learn about the equity markets
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university; or law school
Preferred
Previous internship and/or work experience preferred
