Froedtert Health is a regional health network that collaborates with the Medical College of Wisconsin to provide patient care and medical research. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to support data analysis, benchmarking efforts, and financial improvements across multiple hospital sites.

Responsibilities

Provide observations and interpretation of data compiled from a variety of sources including: scorecards, operational metrics and statistics, general ledger and payroll

Support Vizient hospital benchmarking efforts across multiple hospital sites as well as participate in identification and implementation of improvement efforts with operational leaders

Participate in data collection from multiple sources and submit to the operational database

Meet with department operational leaders to educate on benchmarking, review inputs and interpret quarterly results

Produce management reports and senior leader presentations of benchmarking results

Participate in ad hoc projects for hospital financial improvements

Required

A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or healthcare environment is required

Bachelor's degree is required

Preferred

Understands the technical aspects and interfaces between General Accounting, Managed Care, Reimbursement, Patient Accounting, Patient Services, Financial Planning, and Information Systems as it relates to the job functions
