The University of West Georgia (UWG) is a leading residential university committed to providing a transformative college experience. They are seeking Tech Production Assistants (TPAs) to work various live events on campus, operating audio/visual equipment and supporting event production.

Responsibilities

Tech Production Assistants (TPAs) will work various live events on campus, including commencements, sports, student affairs, and special events

TPAs will operate various audio/visual equipment, such as cameras, audio mixers/mics/speakers, video switchers/playback machines, etc

Required

Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average

Ability to work nights and weekends

Must be able to lift 25lbs

Sit/stand for long periods of time

Knowledge of audio-visual equipment (sound systems, cameras, projectors, etc.)

Must have some knowledge of broadcast operations
