Responsibilities
Provides automation support to teams on project, including setup, training, application and process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software’s and applications
Arranges, prepares, and conducts meetings, workshops, and presentations as required
Assists with executing the project automation plan
Evaluates and coordinates the implementation of new automation modules and tools
Tests and supports data integration of new releases of production software/programs
Customizes applications as required by customer
Prepares user guides and training material and delivers training
Develops performance curves, metrics, trackers, and user feedback to show trends and use in improvements
Applies knowledge of database management, programming skills, and 3D tools, to support team and project construction planning, work packaging, progress reporting, material management, turnover/completions, workforce management and timekeeping
Coordinate construction requirements with project IT lead/manager to ensure they’re incorporated in the project automation plan
Qualification
Required
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Requires to be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, maneuvering around very small and/or confined spaces
Application development and maintenance. Digital process implementation
Advanced level capability with MS Excel and Access
Experience with other database platforms is desirable. Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience
Preferred
Extensive knowledge of TEAMWorks and associated applications is required
Experience with other BSAPs
A good understanding of Bechtel standard and nuclear construction work processes and procedures is desirable
