Standard Solar is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support their tax compliance efforts. The role involves managing income tax payments, coordinating with external service providers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations.

Responsibilities

Managing and tracking income tax payments from quarterly installment estimates, extensions and annual tax returns for various partnership funds

Managing the fiscal and investor tax compliance calendar. Coordinating the income tax compliance calendar with the external service provider

Managing communications from federal and state tax authorities. Tracking, documenting and responding to federal and state tax notices for income taxes

Coordinating annual nexus reviews for income tax

Willing to read and understand Flow of Funds and other legal documents

Building relationships with colleagues in Accounting, Structured Finance, FP&A, Asset Management, to understand business financial performance, transactions executed and any other significant operating activity within the company and the funds under management

Excellent spoken and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate tax concepts to those without tax expertise

Skillful in developing and building successful internal and external relationships

Strong technological aptitude to learn and leverage technological solutions for communication, analysis, and efficient workflows

Excel experience required
