Scientific research using in vitro and in vivo models for a variety of cartilage and meniscus tissue engineering approaches, and more generally across the musculoskeletal system
Submit and collaborate on grant proposals and journal publications
Participate in the department's educational programs as assigned
Mentor and teach junior lab members

Required

Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent)

Expertise in tissue engineering, biomaterials, mechanical testing, cartilage/meniscus, large animal models, and biomaterials synthesis
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to publish research results in peer-reviewed journal articles
