Responsibilities
Work alongside a team of technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and security systems
Support the Facilities Manager by assisting with on-site decisions, helping distribute tasks, and participating in team meetings
Follow technical safety guidelines and ensure compliance with operational standards
Assist in managing vendor activities and project execution, including upgrades and repairs
Contribute to reporting and analysis, track consumption data, and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in process improvement efforts and support Facilities Excellence initiatives
Provide technical support for complex issues and share knowledge to help develop junior team members
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with proven team leadership
Strong electrical background, ideally with data center experience
Hands-on expertise with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and mechanical systems (chillers, HVAC, downflow units)
Familiarity with physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
Experience in project management and vendor coordination
Desire to take proactive ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion
Ability to lead with confidence, communicate effectively, and make decisions under pressure
