Responsibilities

Work with Engineering Leadership to drive end-to-end project lifecycle for data analytics applications: develop relationships with customers, and collaborate with developers and business partners across the enterprise
Write production code that implements NLP and LLM models and algorithms, ensuring high quality, scalability, and reliability
Research, identify, assess, and validate emerging technologies to increase the team’s ML and AI capabilities
Partner with stakeholders to deliver Data products and collaborate with customers to understand business problems and explain technical solutions
Work in an agile environment to deliver fast-paced solutions that meet the needs of the business
Maintain technical responsibility, aid colleagues, and resolve technical issues through collaboration

Required

BA/BS in computer science, information science, data science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience and 3+ years in data science
Proven proficiency with Python, Spark, common data science libraries, and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, OpenCV)
Experience with AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3, Step Functions, Lambda, EC2, Redshift, Glue, Batch, Elasticsearch)
Solid understanding of statistical and machine learning (ML) techniques; experience with supervised, unsupervised, generative, semi-supervised, self-supervised modeling approaches
Ability to deploy solutions using tools such as GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and familiarity with visualization tools like Plotly/Dash, Javascript/D3/Go.js, and Streamlit. Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data; experience with SQL, REST APIs, and custom scripting
Effective communicator capable of engaging and building trust with senior executives

Preferred

Bachelor of Science in CS, Physics, Math, Engineering, or other STEM fields
Expertise in sophisticated model selection, hyper-parameter tuning, explainability techniques in deep learning models
Experience with fastapi/flask for model deployment and building visualizations
Track record of innovative literature research to develop novel Data Science applications
Experience with network/graph analysis, crafting visualizations, and Gurobi with LP/IP program optimization models
