Responsibilities
Safely assemble a quality product with a name known across the world
Support facility initiatives and daily tasks focused on people, safety, quality, velocity and cost
Responsible for safely assembling heavy paving products according to model pictures and build instructions utilizing mechanical tools, torque tools, metric units, hydraulics and electrical components within allotted process time
Work with team members on identifying, electronically documenting and communicating opportunities for improvement
Communicating discrepancies, and recommending solutions
Work with limited supervision
Qualification
Required
2 years' experience in a mechanic or assembly field, heavy equipment assembly, or technical school with a focus in a mechanical or manufacturing field
Relevant experiences such as mechanical aptitude in a personal or professional setting must be described in application
Must pass background screening
Must pass drug screening
Must pass post-offer medical questionnaire (clearance from Corporate Medical)
Applications must be complete to include personal and/or professional experience or education related to the role requirements
Incomplete applications will be rejected
Preferred
Heavy assembly, manufacturing or Caterpillar manufacturing experience
Intermediate or greater proficiency using electronic and digital devices and mediums
Experience using mechanical tools including torque tools and operation of crane equipment
Understanding of metric units, hydraulics and electrical components
Good communication skills
