Responsibilities
Conduct advanced visual inspection and rework per IPC-J-STD 001 standards
Perform continuity, resistance, and voltage checks to support root cause analysis
Build and repair custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test fixtures
Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and test equipment under supervision
Support RMA processing by performing initial diagnostic checks on returned units
Collaborate with Quality Engineers to identify process improvements and recurring issues
Document inspection results and communicate non-conformances effectively
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED, or an Associate's degree in Electronics, with 1 year of relevant experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics assembly, inspection, or rework
Strong soldering skills with fine-pitch SMT components
Familiarity with basic test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply)
Proficient in Windows-based data entry and documentation tools
NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check
Preferred
Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) under IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD 001
Familiar with low-voltage and RF PCB assemblies
Experience supporting R&D or prototype environments
Knowledge of ESD controls, calibration tracking, and safety procedures
