This role involves providing high-quality care directly to patients in an outpatient setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Responsibilities

Ability to work closely with a partnering team of specialists encompassing 37+ specialty care and hospital-based service lines

The focus of this position is to provide high-quality care directly to patients in an outpatient setting

Individual will be highly involved with owning our lung cancer screening program as well as establish an incidental lung nodule clinic

Performs comprehensive evaluation and examination

Orders, conducts, and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests

Provider exercises autonomy in medical decision making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to adult patients. This may include managing patients with complex, acute, critical, and chronic health conditions

Assists patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and the resources available, including educating eligible patients about appropriate clinical research studies and technologies

Assesses the patient’s ability to navigate the increasingly complex healthcare continuum, assists in identifying potential barriers to timely and appropriate health care, and develops plan of care to overcome such barriers
