Senior Account Executive, West Coast
VODA.ai is seeking a Director of Sales for the West (US territory) to join our US sales organization. In this role, you will lead VODA’s commercial success by engaging with public and private water utilities and managing the sales process from qualified leads to closed deals.

Responsibilities
Engaging with public and private water utilities to manage and drive the sales process from a qualified lead to closed won
Using presence and consultative approach to build relationships with prospects, customers, and partners
Demonstrating our value with clear knowledge of the product, use cases, and our value proposition
Performing product demonstrations for qualified leads
Closing the deals that make sense for both the customer and our business
Attending conferences and traveling to meet with prospects or partners
Liaising with territory partners and resellers frequently to maintain close communication about deals
Maintaining accurate information of activities, next steps, probabilities, communications and more within our CRM (HubSpot)
Managing and enabling a junior AE within your territory who will focus more on top-of-funnel activities
Qualification
Required
Live in, or willing to relocate (without assistance) to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming
Use your presence and consultative approach to build relationships with prospects, customers, and partners
Demonstrate our value with clear knowledge of the product, use cases, and our value proposition. Perform product demonstrations for qualified leads
Close the deals that make sense for both the customer and our business. Our customers always come first, and it is our responsibility to make sure we are able to support their needs the best we possibly can
Attend conferences and travel to meet with prospects or partners. This includes representing VODA.ai at a booth, or at a partner's booth, being a subject matter expert on predictive asset management decisions
Liaise with your territory partners and resellers frequently to maintain close communication about deals and build great relationships with your counterparts
Maintain accurate information of your activities, next steps, probabilities, communications and more within our CRM (HubSpot). VODA.ai is big on teamwork and good data – good CRM hygiene ensures our best-in-class marketing, customer success, and technical teams can do their job to take care of our customers before, and after, the sale
Manage and enable a junior AE within your territory who will focus more on top-of-funnel activities and report directly to you
Preferred
Have previous experience working with utility or government SaaS is preferred

Love to travel. Face-to-face is critical to building relationships, especially in our industry. Expect at least 70% of your time for travel
