Responsibilities

Translating engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions
Identifying tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware
Providing shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor
Non-conformance report (NCR) generation, management, & closure
Supporting introduction of new products by crafting manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists​

Required

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
3+ year experience in an engineering capacity, including internships
Ability to work 2nd shift M-Fri 2pm - 10:30pm
Prior internship experience in areas of aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T
Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

Preferred

Hands on experience with building flight hardware
Experience with design, development or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellites
Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo or CATIA V5)
Customer focused with a proven track record to work cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances
Strong organizational and analytical skills
