Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a F-35 Fighter In A Box (FIAB) Software Subject Matter Expert to support the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The role involves providing on-site support for modeling and simulation training systems, focusing on troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of the F-35 FIAB simulator system.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site support of 31st Combat Training Squadron’s Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) training systems located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada

Support JSE F-35 FIAB Daily Operations by monitoring simulator system performance

Troubleshot JSE F-35 FIAB issues by reviewing FIAB source code and/or JSE Platform Plugin source code

Developing enhancements and optimizing existing F-35 FIAB simulator system

Integration of F-35 FIAB other platforms

Develop and assist with accurately reporting F-35 FIAB and JPP to deficiencies

Required

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience

Must have experience in Software Development and Software Design

Must have Software Development Experience in F-35 FIAB source code, JSE Platform Plugin source code, or related experience

Proficiency working in a Linux command-line environment

Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills working independently and as part of a technical team

Demonstrated strong work ethic and initiative to troubleshoot, address, and prevent problems on complex tasks and systems

Must have had an active Top Secret security clearance within the last 24 months

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and relevant SAP/SAR clearances
