Family Office Accounting Manager
Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a high-touch, multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth families with personalized accounting and wealth solutions. The Family Office Accounting Manager will oversee accounting processes, manage client relationships, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for specific families.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the review and oversight of accounting processes, i.e. timely posting of all financial transactions to G/L, maintain the general ledger, generate & post all journal entries, coordinate monthly close, and prepare financial reports
Oversee and manage the accounting functions for specific families that includes; accounts payables, ensuring accurate, authorized invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner
Review monthly/quarterly financial packages for clients with related work papers
Conduct day-to-day management of accounts to ensure delivery of timely and accurate work product
Onboard new clients, oversee set up financial reporting processes and chart of accounts
Build client relationships and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses
Primary day-to-day contact for client communications, project management, problem identification and resolution across multiple simultaneous client relationships
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Thorough knowledge of GAAP
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
CPA certification or candidate
