Senior LevelPCG Talent Network is supporting a hyper-growth manufacturing technology company in the San Francisco Bay Area seeking a Senior Cost Accountant / Inventory Analyst to join their finance organization. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory and cost accounting data across ERP systems and Excel-based models while supporting day-to-day accounting activities.

Responsibilities
Support day-to-day inventory and cost accounting activities in a manufacturing environment
Maintain and support vendor master and item master data
Assist with cost updates, standard cost maintenance, and variance analysis
Review and validate purchase order coding and inventory transactions
Support month-end close activities related to inventory, WIP, and COGS
Assist with landed cost allocations, including freight, warehousing, and customs
Prepare and support inventory roll-forwards and reconciliations
Partner with operations, supply chain, and IT on inventory accuracy and operational reporting
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting as the business continues to scale
Qualification
Required
Experience in manufacturing, inventory accounting, or cost accounting
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Excel
Exposure to inventory transactions, COGS, and variance analysis
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment
Detail-oriented with strong cross-functional communication skills
Availability to work onsite 3–4 days per week
