0+ years expArconic is currently seeking a Flex Team Lead to join their Kawneer Team in Visalia. The Flex Team Lead will be responsible for backing up other leads, filling in for manning shortages, and training employees as needed.

Responsibilities
Adhere to all Kawneer rules and regulations
Identifies material by part number and product finish
Back up and support Leadmen as needed
Train employees as directed by Manager
Back fill production positions based on business needs
Reads and interprets Custom, Standard take-off sheets, cut lists, and templates by others to verify location of hardware
Verifies all measurements for accuracy and quality
Perform JDE transactions for packaging
Identify and retrieve all needed hardware from storage as needed
Mark proper identification on all jobs
Knowledge and ability to follow the MDR scrap material process
Cleans work area, tools, and equipment
Performs quality inspections and reports errors
Complete checklists, reports, and logs as needed
Support Project managers, Takeoff and PC as needed
Support and work with other support departments
Flexibility to other positions as required for business needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets documents such as Custom Takeoffs, Outside hardware templates, instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondents
Ability to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors
Ability to count, to add, to subtract and to multiply simple numbers
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with and respond to minor problems in standard work situations
Able to measure to 1/32 of an inch
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to repetitively lift up to 40 pounds or 1/3 of your body weight
Able to work 12 hour days
Able to wear required PPE
Able to bend and twist repetitively
Preferred
One to six months related work experience is preferred
