New Grad, Entry LevelBrooksource is seeking a Junior Operations Support Specialist to assist with day-to-day operational tasks across databases, scripting, infrastructure support, and team troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys solving problems and supporting both technical teams and core business operations.

Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day support for internal teams, including troubleshooting network issues and escalating when needed
Monitor operational workflows and help ensure systems run smoothly from end to end
Work with SQL Server databases to run queries, analyze issues, and support database operations
Understand SQL Server security concepts such as permissions, roles, access requests, and how security policies are applied
Develop or update basic automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and SQL to support operational tasks
Assist with maintaining and improving internal operational scripts and tools
Support the infrastructure and DevOps teams by understanding the systems, tools, and processes they use
Gain familiarity with server environments, system workflows, and how various technical teams collaborate
Assist in documenting infrastructure processes and operational procedures
Qualification
Required
Foundational experience with SQL and SQL Server
Foundational experience with PowerShell scripting
Foundational experience with Python scripting
Understanding of basic SQL Server security (permissions, authentication, access control)
Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting steps
Understanding of how infrastructure and DevOps teams operate (servers, environments, pipelines, support processes)
Ability to analyze problems end-to-end and follow an issue through to resolution
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to support teammates effectively
