Warehouse Shipping Manager
Aegis Worldwide is partnering with a company looking for a Shipping Manager to come join their team. The Shipping Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities related to equipment maintenance and operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Analyzes work orders to estimate labor hours and develop machining schedules that align with operational demands
Calculates required materials and in-process stock based on production schedules; submits requisitions to appropriate storage or inventory departments
Interprets job specifications and assignments for team members
Coordinates with internal departments to ensure timely completion of deliverables and customer satisfaction
Inspects parts and finished products to confirm compliance with specifications
Guides team in machine and equipment adjustments to maintain quality standards
Modifies workflows or procedures to adhere to production timelines
Identifies opportunities to improve production methods, equipment efficiency, and overall product quality
Supports resolution of work-related issues and assists team members in problem-solving
Develops and implements work instructions that comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices
Qualification
Required
