Responsibilities
Diagnosing failures and recommending effective repair solutions
Performing repairs precisely and efficiently, adhering to dealership and factory standards
Interacting with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers
Mentoring less-experienced technicians
Staying informed about and complying with federal, state, and local regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and DOT guidelines
Prioritizing safety in all shop and vehicle activities
Reporting any safety issues immediately
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Reporting any changes in the appearance or condition of a vehicle to department management
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or equivalent
A vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair
Four to six years of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of experience and education
A valid driver's license
A clean driving record
Basic proficiency in computer skills to aid in diagnostic and repair tasks
Preferred
MX Engine certification
Cummins Heavy Duty certification
Cummins Mid-Range certification
Allison Transmission certification
Eaton Transmission certification
