Responsibilities

Acts as an Information Technology business liaison to all appropriate departments

Is responsible for the overall design, implementation, testing, documentation, operation and support of assigned Health Care Information Systems

This includes strategic planning, system selection, implementation and project management

Daily operations include staff management, development, recruitment and retention

Is fiscally responsible for all assigned systems and support with a focus on customer service

Required

Deep understanding of Cerner Millennium Patient Accounting (CPA) or current billing application, including billing, claims processing, reimbursement workflows, working with outside vendors (vendor management), and payment posting

Experience with Cerner Charge Services and General Ledger Interface

Knowledge of SQL, CCL (Cerner Command Language), and data extraction tools for reporting and analysis

Familiarity with Cerner Revenue Cycle workflows, including integration with PowerChart, Scheduling, and Registration

Ability to troubleshoot Cerner Millennium applications, resolve system issues, and optimize financial operations

Knowledge of interface development and integration (HL7, FHIR, APIs) with third-party systems

Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice in a specialized field

Education discipline: Computer Science or Information Systems

Must have management experience

Must have excellent customer service

Must be able to manage/prioritize work requests to be executed
