Apply your field of study to solve real problems with an opportunity to directly impact our business, gaining hands-on experience with internet-scale data and industry-level applications
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a PhD program with relevant coursework, research, and background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
Hands-on involvement with research projects involving formulating hypotheses, exploring data, and developing models for insights
Established track record in developing and validating machine learning models, with a strong understanding of model performance evaluation and optimization
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, SQL, or R
Preferred
Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, or MPP databases
Proven capacity to communicate complex data science concepts, methodologies, and findings to diverse audiences
Ability to conduct independent research to identify and recommend the best approaches for solving complex technology and business problems
