Residential Program Director - ABI
The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and their families. They are seeking a Residential Program Director to oversee an Acquired Brain Injury home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support while managing staff and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to residents in your care
Ensure every resident has what he/she/they need including medical appointments, individualized care, and engaging activities
Support staff to meet resident needs any hour of any day
Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation for persons served
Supervise and support staff, including hiring, on-the-job training and ongoing performance management
Ensure quality control, licensing, certification and accreditation compliance
Develop positive working relationships with diverse groups of people
Manage a diverse staff in a 24-hour residential setting
Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather information and act appropriately
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Knowledge of program management and of individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries
Ability to pass criminal background check
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, sit, reach, and climb stairs
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of two-person lift
Become MAP certified within 90 days of start date. (Training will be provided)
Become CPR/First Aid certified. (Training will be provided)
You are an experienced residential house manager, assistant manager, or director with a proven track record of providing exceptional service to residents in your care
You have an attention to detail that ensures every resident has what he/she/they need: including medical appointments, individualized care, and activities that engage, excite and challenge them
You fully understand the intricacies of 24/7 service delivery and can support staff to meet resident needs any hour of any day
You have a solid understanding of the importance of record keeping and accurate completion of all necessary documentation for persons served
You have a proven track record of supervising and support staff, including hiring, on-the-job training and ongoing performance management
You fully understand the importance of quality control, licensing, certification and accreditation and are committed to following all applicable regulations and program specific policies
You have a commitment to The Arc's Mission - to empower and support people with disabilities and their families to belong, contribute, and thrive
You are exceptional at developing positive working relationships with diverse groups of people
You have a proven ability to manage a diverse staff in a 24-hour residential setting
You have exceptional organizational and time management skills
You have proven your ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather information and act appropriately
Preferred
Education: College degree strongly preferred
Experience: 5 years of experience working in human services or allied health. 2 years of supervisory experience
