Responsibilities

Strategize with Executive Compensation department leaders to develop and implement new department initiatives
Provide support to partners with respect to staffing and utilization, monitoring of workloads and tracking skills and experience
Generate reports for partners analyzing associate and counsel productivity
Serve as a resource to attorneys with respect to integration, development, career planning and interpersonal issues
Execute the annual attorney evaluation process; solicit and compile interim feedback
Coordinate the collection of attorney data in response to industry survey requests
Meet with lateral hires when they join the firm; check-in with new laterals periodically to ensure a successful transition
Coordinate and oversee the associate mentorship program
Coordinate all Executive Compensation partner, counsel and associate meetings
Coordinate attorney events including department specific outings, associate morale events and other ad hoc functions
Conduct exit interviews
Perform additional administrative tasks including, but not limited to, administering vacation approvals
Serve as the point of contact for all Business Development needs of the department
Create and update pitch books

Required

Bachelor's degree required
At least 7+ years of related work experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
Ability to proactively and efficiently handle multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to interface with professionals at various levels
Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and highly developed organizational abilities with a meticulous attention to detail
Must possess strong written communication and must exercise discretion and judgement
Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure, in a deadline-driven environment
Required to monitor and respond to emails and phone calls after hours and weekends
Basic proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook
