Responsibilities
Draft, review, and interpret insurance policies and endorsements
Advise on coverage issues, regulatory compliance, and risk management
Provide legal guidance on homeowners insurance claims, property damage matters, coverage disputes, and potential bad faith exposure
Oversee claims-related litigation and outside counsel
Collaborate closely with claims and operational teams
Translate complex legal issues into clear, practical recommendations
Qualification
Required
JD
Admitted to the Florida Bar
Demonstrated experience in insurance law—particularly homeowners or property insurance
Strong analytical and writing skills
Sound judgment
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Preferred
Prior in-house experience is a plus, but not required
