Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed proposal and project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 in support of bids and executed work
Provide Project Controls functional support during proposal development, including schedule strategy, milestone planning, and alignment with estimating and execution plans
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Project Controls policies, procedures, templates, and standards
Capture, analyze, and document lessons learned related to pre-construction, estimating, project controls, procurement, construction, and quality
In collaboration with functional department managers, initiate and support process improvements to enhance Project Controls effectiveness and benefit future proposals and projects
Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) consistent with contract requirements, company standards, and Project Controls policies and procedures
Create integrated summary and detailed schedules covering all phases of work, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and closeout
Ensure logical sequencing of activities, identification of critical and near-critical paths, and compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles
Integrate schedules from multiple disciplines, subcontractors, and work packages to ensure alignment and consistency across the overall project plan

Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated ability to resolve schedule conflicts and propose effective planning solutions
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with multiple commercial contract types (LS, T&M, etc.) and labor agreements (union, non-union)
Strong knowledge of project execution and project controls means and methods
Excellent writing and grammatical skills for crafting items such as procedures, proposals, bid documents, reports, correspondence, etc
Highly proficient with MS Office suite
Preferred
Working knowledge of P6 Administrative Functions
