Responsibilities

Provide oversight of daily cardiovascular service line operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

Foster a collaborative, experience-focused culture aligned with organizational mission, vision, and values

Maintain a visible leadership presence across cardiovascular departments

Partner effectively with physician leadership to drive clinical, operational, and financial performance

Lead budgeting, financial planning, productivity monitoring, and variance analysis

Collaborate with system and market leadership on strategic planning and service line growth initiatives

Develop and implement tactics to improve service line profitability and sustainability

Lead, mentor, and support cardiovascular leadership teams and staff

Establish effective communication across physicians, advanced practice providers, and management teams

Support recruitment and retention of physicians, APPs, and clinical and non-clinical staff

Promote staff development, career growth, and competency validation

Participate in physician and APP recruitment efforts and maintain understanding of compensation models

Analyze internal and benchmark data to identify improvement opportunities

Lead initiatives focused on quality outcomes, access, and patient experience

Drive process improvement efforts related to care delivery, workflows, and financial performance

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational and clinical outcomes
