3+ years expCotiviti is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will contribute to the design and implementation of automation testing frameworks. The role involves testing B2B information systems and ensuring the quality of web applications and APIs through various testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
Contribute at the design, coding, and implementation level in creating and refining automation testing framework
Apply sound computer science practices to automate core API and web functionality tests across platforms
Analyze and test B2B information systems and microservice based multi-tier distributed applications based on technologies like Java, Angular etc
Validate applications E2E with different database systems like MySQL, MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch etc
Assume ownership for issues end to end
Test scripting and executions of functional tests
Performance, load and security testing
Work with Agile scrum team to ensure the acceptance criteria is met
Qualification
Required
solid understanding and experience in test case automation and scripting for web applications and microservices/API testing
Contribute at the design, coding, and implementation level in creating and refining automation testing framework
Apply sound computer science practices to automate core API and web functionality tests across platforms
Analyze and test B2B information systems and microservice based multi-tier distributed applications based on technologies like Java, Angular etc
Validate applications E2E with different database systems like MySQL, MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch etc
Assume ownership for issues end to end
Test scripting and executions of functional tests
Performance, load and security testing
Work with Agile scrum team to ensure the acceptance criteria is met
BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
3+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java
Experience in Cucumber or similar testing tool
