Part-Time Personal Lines Account Manager

The Jonus Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team. This role involves managing personal insurance accounts, ensuring client needs are met, and cultivating relationships with clients and carriers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring accurate and timely handling of client needs
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service
Assist in the preparation, review, and presentation of policy renewals, endorsements, and modifications
Educate clients on coverage options, premium changes, and policy details to help them make informed decisions
Process policy applications, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with carriers, underwriters, and internal team members to ensure timely resolution of client requests or issues
Monitor client accounts to ensure compliance with agency standards and carrier requirements
Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell coverages where beneficial for the client
Stay updated on insurance market trends, products, and regulatory changes relevant to personal lines policies
Offer innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience and improve operational workflows

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability/willingness to obtain)
Proficiency in insurance agency management systems or CRM tools
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software or technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients
Ability to analyze customer needs, identify solutions, and resolve issues independently and efficiently
Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic work environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering positive client experiences
Must be able to work part-time hours with flexibility to accommodate occasional additional hours if necessary

Preferred

Associate degree or higher in business, finance, or related field
Prior experience in personal lines insurance and/or as an Account Manager
