Senior Accounting Analyst
Koch Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join their CFO organization. The role involves owning accounting activities, partnering with business teams, conducting financial analysis, and fostering a knowledge network within the organization.

Responsibilities
Own and Transform: Own accounting activities by ensuring excellent stewardship of the balance sheet through analytics and quality close. Identify opportunities, develop bring your point of view, and implement waste elimination and transformation initiatives across processes to provide value for the organization
Business Team Partnership: Act as a trusted thought partner by proactively seeking and sharing knowledge, build partnerships across the global finance organization, IT, and other capabilities. Develop and foster partnerships with other finance functions, leveraged capabilities, business units, and external auditors to prioritize and support profitable decision making and value creation, with a focus on integrity and long-term stability
Financial Analysis: Understand the data and use tools such as Excel and Power BI to identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making. Tell the data story by adapting the presentation based on the audience
Lifelong Learner: Create a knowledge network by seeking and sharing knowledge, building partnerships across the organization. Learn and quickly adapt to change including new systems and processes
Qualification
Required
Experience in an Accounting or Finance focused role(s) that requires a working knowledge of financial accounting principles, the general ledger, month end close, account reconciliation and analysis, and the purpose/application of internal financial controls
Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)
Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Public audit experience
SAP or OneStream experience
Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau)
