DH Pace Company is a distribution, construction and service organization offering a complete range of door and door related products. They are seeking an Entry-Level Estimator for their Central Estimating Team, where the main responsibilities include learning to estimate construction projects and providing communication with customers.

Responsibilities

Learn to bid doors of all different types for new construction and aftermarket projects across the country (no travel required)
Provide a superior level of communication with internal and external customers
Review construction drawings and specifications to determine bid strategies, quantities and costs
Create professional submittal and closeout documents
Manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion
Remain involved with projects throughout the entire construction process
Create ideas that promote continuous improvement for the team and the company
Other duties may be assigned

Required

Exceptional phone and email communications skills
Good at prioritization and time management
High attention to detail
Strong basic computer skills
Self-motivated
Ability to flourish in a fast paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

Math background and Microsoft Excel experience are a plus
