Responsibilities
Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies) in addition to coordinating with marketing, sales, and product teams to create the following types of content that promote RISA products:
Technical articles focused on RISA software products
Video content focused on RISA software products and structural engineering topics
Case Study write-ups for customer projects
RISA customer company spotlights/profiles
Various website collateral and content (new features, product descriptions, updates)
Training Materials
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
Create graphics from various RISA software products to support written content
Work directly with sales and marketing teams to create campaigns and ensure marketing content meets the needs of the sales organization
Develop and present company and product demonstrations at association meetings/conferences
Travel to conferences, customer offices, and the RISA office about 10-15% of the time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent industry experience
3+ years of structural design engineering experience
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be confident speaking to audiences in person and over the internet
Team player, self-motivated, and positive 'can-do' attitude
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Multi-task between several projects and other tasks at the same time
Thrive in a team working environment as well as confident working independently
Preferred
Prior published written or video content
PE license (not required but preferred)
Knowledge of HubSpot Content Hub is preferred
