Responsibilities
Mail runs at least 2 times a day
Dropping off mail
Picking up mail from P.O. Boxes
Mail sorting
Mail processing
Cafeteria stock
Inventory stock
Ordering and managing supplies
Organizing
Scanning/Organizing receipts
Receiving/signing for FedEx packages
Logging checks
Returning mail for non-clients or Returning mail sent to Advantax in error
Dropping off non-Advantax mail
Creating FedEx Slips
Supporting/Helping Tax Payment Specialists
Entering tax bills
Assessor log
Organizing tax bills
Tax bill search by phone or website
Assessment entry
Assisting Interns/Tax Analysts
Printing returns
Stuffing returns
Scanning returns
Creating folders for new clients
Creating labels
Printing mail emailed to Advantax
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License (for mail runs to post office)
Own personal reliable vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to stand for extended periods of time, sit, push, pull, stoop, reach, bend, twist
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed (occasionally)
Good verbal and written communication in English
Ability to utilize mail machines, printers, and related computer software
Basic grasp of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
Strong work ethic
Great time management and ability to work independently and in a group
Preferred
Previous data entry experience a plus
