The role involves hands-on experience across multiple disciplines including Real Estate, Finance, Data Analytics, and Engineering to support the development and management of affordable housing communities.

Responsibilities
Assist in evaluating potential sites for affordable housing projects, including zoning, feasibility, and market analysis
Support financial modeling and underwriting for LIHTC financed multifamily development projects
Research and investigate affordable housing policy at the local, state and federal levels. Identify potential funding opportunities including LIHTC, HUD, tax exempt bonds, gap financing, and other forms of affordable housing subsidy
Work with engineer, architect, and consultant teams to review site plans, infrastructure requirements, and sustainability initiatives
Engage with leaders across departments to align on project goals and share insights
Prepare and deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior stakeholders summarizing findings, recommendations, and strategic opportunities
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel locally (up to 25%)
